Open-source licenses

The short version. This website uses a few free, open-source fonts, icons and code libraries. Each license asks us to credit the authors and keep the license text with the files. This page does that. Each license text is also a plain text file stored next to the files it covers.

Fonts

These four fonts are licensed under the SIL Open Font License, Version 1.1. Fraunces, Hanken Grotesk and DM Serif Display are served as trimmed copies: only the Latin and Latin Extended characters the pages need are kept, in the WOFF2 format. Under the license, trimming a font counts as modifying it. The trimmed files are still under the same license. Lora is served exactly as its authors published it, with no changes.
